The THING ITSELF
The Universal
There is One Cosmic Reality Principle and Presence in the Universe - God. All creation originates in this One Source. God is.
God is all there is.
From this One Infinite Source flows
the spiritual, mental, and physical
Universe-all Life, all Love, all Law,
all Energy, all Harmony, all Being, all
physical form or effect, all Creation.
All physical and spiritual Principles
and Laws are contained within the
One.
Many
different terms are used in
various cultures and theologies to
express this concept of God. All
have the same meaning, and all
denote the Single Principle.
Terms
frequently used in Science of Mind are: The Thing Itself,
Spirit, Life, Love, First Cause, Love-lntelligence, the
Absolute, Universal Mind, the Changeless, the Universe, Infinite
Knowingness, the Supreme Being, the Divine Presence, and many
more. Emerson calls it the
Over-soul. Native Americans worship the Great Spirit. Lao Tzu calls It Tao. Traditional
Christians say God. Einstein referred to his "unified
field" theory .

THE WAY IT WORKS
The Human
Each
human being is a creation of
God, made of the God-substance,
a unique, individualized Incarnation of Spirit. This incarnated Spirit
is my Essence and the Essence of every human being.
This
Essence is uniquely mine. It
can never be lost, damaged, diminished, or destroyed throughout my
eternal journey. Now and forever, I
am an expression of God, right where I am. God in me, as me, is me.
Because
each of us is an incarnation
of the One Spirit, all life is inseparably
One. There is a Divine Wholeness, a
total interconnectedness at the
Source. Despite my occasional feel-
ing of separateness, this Oneness is
irrevocable and eternal. It is WHO I
AM. All humans are One with God,
One with each other, and One with all
Life, animate and inanimate.
