Ernest Holmes founded the International Religious Science movement and wrote The Science of Mind and numerous other books on metaphysics. He also founded the international monthly periodical, Science of Mind magazine, which has been in continuous monthly publication since 1927 and has influenced millions of people. His Science of Mind teaching, which has been recognized by persons such as Jean Houston as one of the leading viewpoints in modern metaphysics, is a spiritual philosophy that people throughout the world have come to know as a positive, supportive approach to life.
Religious Science has been called the true religion of the future., Jean Houston writes in her forward to the Science of Mind text, Holmes seemed to anticipate the world of the new millennium the tasks that are now ours compel the revolution in consciousness that tells us that we are part of the great unfolding of Spirit in flesh. We are called to express much more of ourselves to actualize individual transformation and build spiritual community on a global scale.
