The Life of a Child

Ernest Holmes says this about children,“The life of a child is lived in natural Goodness. God is natural Goodness. The prison walls of false experience soon build themselves into barriers, shutting out the light, the child grows into an adult, often losing the sense of that inner Guide, leading the footsteps aright.”  God’s Garden, which is the name of the children’s program at C.S.L.E., is a garden that is growing in that light. A garden with no such walls, not a prison, but a delight.

It is the vision of the God’s Garden ministry to see generations of children raised in the Freedom of that guiding light.

It is enough to simply ask yourself, as I have, how your own life would have appeared, had you never been shut off from that simple natural Goodness, or how grateful you are if you were not. Those who know the story of our founder, Ernest Holmes, know that he was an example of such a person. Even the great Master Jesus admonished us to become as little children, before we could enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

There is a firm dedication to this principle in the God’s Garden ministry. Please bring your children, and they are all our children, to learn in the care of our wonderful Gardeners, to bloom in the light of this wonderful philosophy to live this great way of life. Please join us in helping to bring to Bloom our radiant expressions of Divine Life. Volunteer for the most important job in our church. Fill out a volunteer form. There are so many ways to serve and to give. Come and treat yourself to some time basking and toiling in God’s Garden.
