Welcome to God’s Garden
C.S.L.E. Childcare
Here
are some guidelines to ensure that you and your children have a safe and happy
experience.
Ø
We are open at 9:45
a.m. Please do not leave children
unattended prior to this time. Once the service
has ended, the door is closed and there is no further supervision. If your child is brought to you during the
service we will not be able to continue supervision.
Ø
If your child has any food
allergies, please let us know.
Generally, purified water and graham crackers, goldfish, or cereal is
served for snacks. For birthdays 100%
fruit juice and a small sweet are provided.
Please let us know your child’s birthday so that we may calendar it and
celebrate.
Ø
We ask that you make sure
your child has a nametag before leaving them.
Temporary ones are issued and permanent ones are made for regular
attendees.
Ø
You are welcome to have your child bring
favorite toys and/or security items as long as they are ready and able to
share.
Ø
Regardless of age or maturity,
a child will never be unattended for any reason, and for restroom visits, this
will be a like gendered escort. Diapers
will not be changed by anyone but a parent for sanitary reasons. We ask that you do this in the restrooms.
Ø
We have a curriculum provided
by U.C.R.S. that centers on the Virtues Project. You are welcome to view our copies.
Ø
Parents are asked to
consider volunteering every 6 visits. A
couple might share that commitment, thus serving every 3 months or so. For those already serving once a month we
support you in that deeper call.
Volunteers are gifted with a tape of that Sunday’s service. For children from 1-8 the ratio of caregivers
is 1 adult for every 3 kids. If we are
not staffed at these levels we may not be able to take every child.
Ø
If you have craft supplies
or toys that you would like to donate or share please let us know.
